Dearest Readers, We at The Southern know you are more than capable of using a computer. We also know you are more than capable of complaining. We know you often think the food in Wynee's is horrible, the parking horrendous, the gardens useless and the classes too difficult.

Editor raises Cain

Originally, I wanted to raise Cain in this column. But after typing and deleting numerous words, I realized that my complaint did not mean anything in the general scheme of things. Usually that does not stop me, and it did not really stop me this time either.

Florida Southern College's theater department presents this high-energy musical, "Bat Boy" in hopes of drawing in a more student-oriented audience by giving them a show filled with non-stop humor, theatrical dancing, a few acrobatic moves, as well as a few men in drag.

Student reviews two stand-out films

Up in the Air "Up in the Air" has attracted lots of attention this awards season and with good reason, for it is a film that truly captured the spirit of the age. Jason Reitman continues to prove to be the top up and coming director of his generation through the use of his unique style and elements in this film.
