We the brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon were very excited about the Week of Impact, and were so glad to be able to contribute to the cause that it was for. When we heard that we won, it was almost bitter sweet. The fact that we won the money for our philanthropy: Children's Miracle Network, was awe-inspiring, but we were sad as a group just to see the week be over with. We can't wait for the next opportunity to be competing for our philanthropy and trying our hardest just so that we can make a small difference in people's lives.

Our goal was not to solve world hunger or poverty in other countries, but we are focused on realistic small wins as an organization. Whether it is donating blood, donating toys to the Alpha Delta Pi's for their Valentine's Day drive, donating Gatorades, working on Valentine's Day cards for the elderly or making a difference with community service with the Farm House Ministries. This is why the brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon can't wait for the next opportunity to be a part of a school related event that could make a difference, even the smallest difference, for the better in someone's life.
